Verbs
Ending in
-re
French verbs that end in -RE belong to the 3e groupe (third group) of verbs which include all irregular verbs, including irregular verbs that end in -IR, verbs ending in -OIR, -RE, -DRE and the verb aller (to go). These verbs do not follow any special rules or predictable patterns so we need to memorize them.
