In order to use verbs, we must make them match the subject of the sentence.

We call this conjugating!

To conjugate -ER verbs, or verbs of the 1er groupe, in the present tense we follow these steps:

1. Take of the -ER ending

2. Add the corresponding endings for the subject pronoun.

Je = e

Tu = es

Il / Elle / On = e

Nous = ons

Vous = ez

Ils / Elles = ent
